Toastmasters Division C, District 114 Hosts Virtual Toastmasters Conference

Division C invites you to witness members compete in 4 scintillating speech contests (Evaluation, Tall Tales, Table Topics™ and Humorous) and watch special guest speakers discuss the communication and leadership skills required to stay current in today’s dynamic business environment. The conference is aptly themed Business Unusual!

“Division C comprises 13 Toastmasters clubs in Nairobi and Mombasa. Our Conference will distill learnings from the comprehensive Toastmasters learning program through each segment of the conference. Our contestants, who have won at club and area level, will face off in the penultimate round of District Contests for 2020/2021,” says Division C Director, Wangu Kamundia DTM.

After hearing a keynote address from Kris Senanu (Managing Director – Digital Division Telkom Kenya), delegates will enjoy various components of a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches) and evaluations.

They will also benefit from an Emotional Intelligence Workshop run by Maria Simiyu, a seasoned Toastmaster, and Human Resources Expert and a panel discussion on Entrepreneurship. The panel will comprise Jared Ouko DTM, an Executive Coach who has been a Toastmaster for 24 years, Joram Mwinamo and Waceke Nduati Omanga, who are both champions for entrepreneurship and sustainability.
